Cross-border socialite Zari Hassan’s instagram and facebook accounts have been hacked.
The unknown hacker is now asking for USD $4000 (approximately Shs. 14.8M) or else they, “post buds on the page.
Boasting of 4.2 M Followers, Zari’s instagram account is one of the most liked in East Africa.
Prior to the hack, Zari has been a celebrated influencer who charges over Usd 20,000 (approximately UGX 74M) for a monthly contract.
It remains unclear if she will bow to the pressure of the ransom.
On her facebook account, the hacker is now posting pornography pictures.
She now joins the likes of Wema Sepetu, Jose Chameleone, Anne Kansiime and more, who have lost their instagram accounts.

Zari’s account has been deleted off instagram.’
