For months now, Next media, the owners of NBS TV and other stations has been teasing about “The Next Big Thing” a hashtag that ruled timelines.
This was ahead of the launch of Next radio.
On Wednesday 17th, the station opened airwaves to the public with an inaugural presentation by renowned host Marcus Kwikiriza.
But, who else is on the team?
Are they going to Poach everything good from wherever?
Here is a list of the new presenters at Next Radio
Qitui: She will be hosting the “Morning Zoo” with Marcus every week day from 6-10am. She has been on radio for three years at Capital FM and other unrelated stints.
Qitui brings on board a playful character that’s full of life.
She is a bomb in making.
A veteran. A radio queen. A voice everyone has been missing.
Karitas returns to radio with a new show called “The Transit” that will be airing from 4PM every weekday.
She has been on TV for a few months now but fans seem not satisfied….yet.
She brings on board a chatty personality full of experience and honesty.
You know that young comedian always clad in suits? Yes, that tiny guy with a huge brain.
He has been at Magic FM for the past few months until a big cheque came through from Next media.
He’s funny. Witty. Talented and many other things.
he will be a partner to Karitas. Yes, what a combination.
The queen of gossip. The celebrated loud mouth who made a switch from Spark TV to NBS a few weeks ago joins radio.
She’s hosting a midmorning show with a little known but better sounding Posha.
She comes to the table with noise and raw opinions. She is a force to reckon with.
DJ Slick Stuart
This one has been at KFM for the past few years until God knows what happened.
Well, he’s a DJ, we don’t expect anything different from scratching tables and being the silent entertainer in studio.
Fresh his wedding, Marcus makes a grand return to radio after a break and a pretty successful stint on TV.
Marcus is the General manager of the station and will be co-hosting the morning show with Qitui every weekday.
He brings experience, wit and mature conversations to the table.
He needs no further introduction.
