One Love Beach was the place to be on Sunday for the fun-loving party animals of Kampala.
It was yet another jam-packed annual Zzina Beach festival organized by Galaxy FM.
The party emceed by Mr. Mosh and Dj Nimlod starting as early as mid day saw partiers engage in a number of activities competing in swimming, volleyball, football and dancing.
Upcoming artists like Diamond Oscar, Eddie Wizzy among others did the curtain raising earlier before the guest performers stepped on stage.
Rodney Y stepped on stage at exactly 7:47pm followed by Rema, Irene Ntale alongside voltage music’s Kent and Folloso who put up an enthusiastic performance.
Later on at around 9pm the self claimed dancehall queen, Cindy showed up on stage with her queen dancers whilst cheering up the crowdy audience dancing to her tunes of “Ndi mukodo”, ” Amateka”, “Sample” among others.
Dressed in vintage shirts and hot pants hence the sexy appeal which was a bonus, the songbird went wild dancing that left many glancing at her with no eye blink for minutes.
The new kid on the dancehall block, Fik Fameica too put up an amazing entertainment show performing his songs like ‘kutama’, ‘Kachima’, ‘mutuwulira’ that left the crowd demanding for more. Finally, David Lutalo came on as the last guest performer and the event came to the end, 10:45am with club banger music mix from Dj Herbert though many thought of Bobi Wine’s appearance
Themed ‘Olina work’ (do you have work?), the event was meant to ‘bring together youths have a blast of fun showcasing skills in different talents” hence it was the “party for our fans (Galaxy FM audience) to end the year” according to Jonathan Nalebo, Galaxy FM events manager.
The ‘Zina Fest’ was organized by Galaxy FM with support from Club beer and Movit beauty products limited.
