UPDF accused of bonking women in C.A.R

The Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) is facing yet another international  scandal after Human Rights Watch posted a report on how the soldiers took advantage of hapless women and girls in the war torn Central African Republic (C.A.R) for their own sexual pleasures. According to the report the soldiers threatened these disadvantage women with retaliation and abandonment. It’s imperative to note that the UPDF soldiers have been camped in the C.A.R since about 2009 where they had gone to flush out Ugandan war lord  Joseph Kony and his Lord Resistance Army a rebel group which had sought refuge in the jungles of that country. However, this is not the first time that the Ugandan army has been involved in cross boarder scandals as it was once accused by the neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo for plundering it’s natural resources such as timber and minerals during the time when the army was fighting the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) another rebel group which used the jungles of Congo as their harbor.
