The marketing manager of Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) Edwin Muzahura Rumanyika has called it quits.
Rumanyika on November 02 tendered in his resignation letter to UTB chief executive officer Steven Asiimwe. In his letter Rumanyika notified Asiimwe of his intention to resign citing harsh working conditions at the UTB that he can’t stand any more.
“I find it extremely difficult and unable to serve under the prevailing circumstances both at management and strategic level,” Rumanyika said.
He adds, “I will therefore proceed to take my remaining annual and statutory leave in December and will cease to serve effective 1st January, 2018.”
Rumanyika nevertheless thanked the team for the support rendered to him during his service and to return the favour, he promised to work with the team to ensure a proper transition.
