Singer New York Demystifies Cyclists In New Song “Boda”

Singer, Kateregga Charles, better known by his stage name, New York, is no stranger in Uganda’s music industry, having released a couple of songs over the years.

The budding singer, who was born and raised in Makindye, Kampala, is not only an amazingly talented artiste but also a boda-boda cyclist who loves his job.

He has so far released songs like “Nakwatamu”, “Mbigulila”, “Kwendaguza” ft. Lil Pazo, “Side Mirror” ft. Geosteady, “Anjagala” ft. king Saha and “Boda” among others.

In “Boda”, which is his latest single, New York airs out the challenges faced by boda-boda cyclists.

“Boda-boda cyclist are often disrespected and treated unfairly. I had to come out and speak about this through music,” New York said.

The song was produced by renowned Ugandan audio music producer, Kuseim at Banq Records.
