It’s now official, Jamaican reggae crooner Windel Beneto Edwards, better known by his stage name Gyptian won’t be coming to Uganda, as earlier publicized.
The singer’s show was called off today afternoon after an apparent “miss of flight.”
“Gyptian missed the connection flight from Miami and instead flew straight to Jamaica,” a communication from the show’s digital team reads in part.
“Getting him and his team to jet to Kampala in time for the concert has been made impossible by the fact it is Christmas,” the message further read.
The “Stunta” singer was set to perform at Penial Beach Entebbe in a showdown named “Entebbe reggae festival”
