Celebrated Gospel reggae-dancehall stars Badman Sobre from Zambia, Agent Snypa from Nigeria have promised a thrilling experience at the forthcoming maiden Love Loud rave concert.
Speaking at a press conference held on Wednesday morning at Kyadondo grounds, Kampala, the stars vowed to stage the best of their showcases at the party.
To be held at Kyadondo rugby grounds on Friday September 29, the concert aims at providing a platform for fun, networking and changing lives of the youth.
The show will also feature renowned Ugandan stars like Coopy Bly, Robin San and Zabuli.
Speaking at the press conference, Solomon Kisakye the Brand and Communication Manager for Love Loud noted that “Love Loud aims at changing mindsets as a sure formula to changing lives.”
“Our belief is that those who have been there should be in touch with those who want to be there as a way to save time and build lasting relationships, and sustainable development. We believe that the gap has always been in mentorship,” he added.
When tasked to expound on the origin of ‘Love Loud Rave,’ Solomon informed the press that it was inspired by John 3:16 where God, out of immense love, offered his only begotten son to save the world.
During his remarks, Solomon also asserted that the show is not a gospel gathering but an open space for everyone to have fun and enjoy the networking.
” We want to stretch this event as far as we can. It’s not only for gospel, everyone is welcome,” he said.
“The people we want to talk to [youths] want to eat and dance and have a good time,” he explained why it’s not limited to the religious sects.
Organizers of the event further revealed, that Friday’s show will also double as a launch pad for Love Loud activities which will include mentorship across the country.
” These programs will be free,” one of the organizers explained, adding that, “If you have talent and a dream, our question is, how far would you want to go.”
Furthermore, the first 30 revelers at the show are poised to receive free Uber coupons to destinations of their choice.
Tickets will go for 20,000 ordinary and 50,000 VIP.
