PHOTOS: First-Ever Flash Mob Runway Hits the Streets of Kampala

Wardz modeling agency, one of the fastest raising agencies in Africa is surely on a quest to redefine modeling in Uganda.

The agency recently introduced the first ever flash mob runway in East Africa, featuring the country’s best models.

Set against the backdrop of the Uganda’s dire love for fashion, the fast-paced shows are aimed at bringing fashion to the public, and the common man.

For the first edition, Munyonyo played host as models showcased the best of their catwalk styles.

After a successful maiden edition, the show was recently held at an undisclosed place downtown in Kampala, drawing a horde of onlookers.

At each location, the models strut down an impromptu catwalk, before striking a pose and presenting different styles to draw in the crowd.

Ismail Wardz, the Director of the agency confided in our reporter how he plans on making the event bigger and better.

“This is just the beginning, Africa should be ready for a Wardz modeling takeover,” he said.

In the same encounter, we also learnt that he [Wardz] is soon unveiling the first ever modeling rality TV show, on a station yet to be revealed.

With such concepts, all we can say is, “watch the space”.
