Zari Hassan Named Miss Uganda Judge

Socialite Zari Hassan will be part of the 2018 Miss Uganda judges’ panel, Telesqop reports.

The cross-border mom-preneur, as she prefers to call herself, was announced by Talent Africa, this year’s co-organizers of the pageant.

“She is a kind, beautiful & successful self made MUMprenuer that inspires and motivates youth all over Africa and more importantly young women in Uganda,” a message posted on Talent Africa’s social media reads in part.

“We are honored to have a patronage for the #MissUG18 happening on August 10th,” they added.

Brenda Nanyonjo, CEO of the Miss Uganda Foundation  states “Zari is the perfect example of our motto at Miss Uganda which is beauty with a purpose! She is not only a beautiful women but she has managed to achieve so much in her career as a business women while she is raising 5 children. We believe she will be an excellent judge for the pageant.

Talent Africa’s CEO Aly Allibhai states “We are really excited to have Zari as a part of our team for the Miss Uganda Pageant. She is a strong independent women who is an inspiration and role model to young women in Uganda. The things she has achieved are phenomenal, she has been though many hardships but she always find a way to bounce back and keep developing and building her personal brand to be one of Uganda’s most celebrated personalities.”

This becomes the first time ever for Zari to be involved in a Ugandan beauty pageant as a judge.
