For more than a week now, there has been talk that renowned city events promoter Suudiman real name Suudi Lukwago is feuding media personality Dave Kazoora Jr. according to reports, the two are said to have fallen out after the recently concluded concert in Jinja featuring Nigerian star singer Timaya. It should be noted that Kazoora organized the concert but it was Suudiman was responsible for booking the ‘Sanko’ hit maker. Suudiman and Kazoora are reported to have fallen out over money related issues.
However, Suudiman has this morning (Monday 18th December 2017) come out and trashed the rumour insisting that the two have no grudge whatsoever. Suudiman started by explaining that the reason he has not been able to respond to the rumour was because he been out of office on a short holiday. He goes on to reveal how he and Kazoora are in fact planning on working together on future projects. Suudiman then blasts another events manager Bobkins Kibirige of KIBO media who he blames for being responsible for spreading what he (Suudiman) refers to false rumours.
He concludes by thanking the people of Jinja of the massive support before hinting that another Nigerian singer David will also soon be performing in Jinja. “It’s a tradition in my family that whenever I accomplish an event, I take a short week holiday. Several scribes from different Media houses have been assailing me with requests for the comment on the recently concluded Timaya Concert. I hadn’t offered my comments because I have been out of office. However, it is now time i set the record straight. Me and Dave Kazoora are not having any grudge or bickering as it is alleged in some circles. Actually we are having business plans together in regard to some forthcoming projects. Meanwhile, some failed music promoter who can pass for an idiot in entertainment circles has been trading rumours. Bobkins Kibirige!!!! You are a loser in events organizing fraternity. Your only event that can pass a mark of a successful event was the Goodlyfe Omwana W’abandi concert. A tale is told that you’re the reason why the Uganda Cranes’ games had poor turn up which contributed it’s loss in Namboole because of lack home support to boast it’s morale from the ardent fans in the stadium. It is a public secret that the last two Uganda Cranes games were considered flops in Cranes games catalogue. You do not know what takes to hold a successful event. Just have the humility to consult with us on how a successful event is planned as opposed to spreading baseless rumours’. Anyway. Thank you Jinja people for the love you showed Timaya. The heavy turn up to the capacity of 25,000 revelers was epic. Thank you for standing with me. You showcased community power. Nothing can ever be bigger than that especially in an upcountry town. And next time we are looking forward to double that numbers. #DavidoForJinja” reads Suudiman’s message.
